The Velbon Sherpa + 630 Aluminum Tripod is a sturdy workhorse that reaches a maximum height of 64.17" (163 cm) and supports loads up to a maximum of 11 lb. The recommended load is 8.8 lb. These tripod legs weigh just 3.68 lb (1.67 kg). Aluminum legs and magnesium components provide strength and light weight. Each leg is independently adjustable to any one of three angles. The detachable, reversible 2-section center column is ideal for low angle and/or macro photography, with a minimum working height of 4.72" (12 cm).
